What Is Guerrilla Marketing?
Guerrilla Marketing is a term, coined by the late great Jay Conrad Levinson. I first encountered a video of a talk he gave on YouTube. It turned out to be his last public talk. The first thing he say is paraphrasing here. The goal of every marketing activity should be to increase profit. Notice how he doesn’t say conversion, turnover profit! He knew his cheese.
Over a long illustrious career he wrote many a book including the tome “Guerrilla Marketing”. A book which I am currently reading at the moment. I wanted to write this post as I wanted to research how his work still remains apt to this day and how far and wide his ideas still remain.
